Dell'Angelo

The Dell’Angelo is easy to reach from each direction:

By Car

Coming from the Gotthard, San Bernardino and Italy: Highway exit “Bellinzona Sud”, direction Locarno, drive through the tunnel (Mappo Morettina, 5.5 km), then direction Locarno. At the roundabout take the third exit direction city centre (centro) and turn left at the 1st traffic light; at the “stop” go straight ahead to Piazza Grande, turn left and drive on the square. The Dell’Angelo is situated at the end of the Piazza.

Coming from the Simplon pass, Domodossola:
After passing the Simplon pass and the boarder drive direction Domodossola, take the exit Vigezzo/Locarno. Arriving in the village Intragna, follow the street sign Locarno and city centre (centro). At the big roundabout take the third exit direction city centre (centro) and turn left at the 1st traffic light, at the “stop” go straight ahead to Piazza Grande, turn left and drive on the square. The Dell’Angelo is situated at the end of the Piazza.

By Train

Locarno has 2 train stations, both are terminal stations, named Locarno and Locarno FART (underground).

How to arrive at the Dell’Angelo from the train station:

- By bus: the bus stop “stazione” is located opposite the train station, across the street. The line bus n° 1 (direction Ascona) or n° 7 (direction Losone) take 6 minutes to reach the bus stop “Piazza Castello” (100m from the hotel).
- On foot: 10 minutes’ walk direction “Piazza Grande” through the arcade; the Dell’Angelo is situated at the end of the square.
- By taxi: taxis are available by the train station.
